Ten days after he officially took office as mayor of Vushtrri, I came to wish success in governing this municipality to Mayor Ferit Idrizi, who has pledged to open opportunities for the citizens of Vushtrri, especially for the youth and women.

President Idrizi is guided by the principle of meritocracy and transparency and is and will be uncompromising towards evil. His decision to appoint at the head of the Directorate of Urbanism a professional in the field proposed by the architects of Vushtrri, as he promised, is to be welcomed. Other appointments in the municipal government are equally deserving.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo has returned to Vushtrri to restore the dignity of this ancient city and the perspective of the people of Vushtrri, without distinction, which will be made possible by the good governance of President Ferit Idrizi.
